Discover Luxor and its surroundings

We offer numerous activities. We can organize visits to all the attractions in and around Luxor and all pharaonic places. You can also book trips to Edfu, Kom Ombo, El Kab, Dendera, Abydos, Aswan, Abu Simbel, the Red Sea or Cairo.

We organize all kinds of transfers between Luxor and the west bank, from and to the airport, from or to Aswan, Edfu, Hurghada, Marsa Alam, El Quesir and many more. If you need flight tickets to destinations within Egypt, as well as bus or train tickets, we will be happy to handle this for you.

We are proud to offer you a large number of unique and interesting activities. Here are a few examples:
Walking, cycling, donkey or camel rides along the riverside of the Nile, to the mountains and surrounding villages / ballooning / visit a typical local market or a romantic sailing trip on the Nile. All these excursions show you the Egyptian everyday life and bring you closer to the Egyptian people. If you want, we can also introduce you to a local social aid organization (The Small Pyramid) which cares for very poor families with disabled children. This relief organization treats sick children, takes care of the education of young people and women.

Valley of the Kings including Western valley with tomb of pharaoh “Ay" and "Carter House"
The driver will pick you up at the villa and drive you to the visitor center of the Valley of the Kings. Take your time to visit the tombs which are of particular interest to you. You can visit three tombs per entrance ticket. Note that some graves require additional tickets, like Tut-Anch-Amun. While you visit the valley your driver is waiting to you. Then you go by car - or if you want you can also walk - away from the Valley of the Kings in the quiet and impressive western valley, also called the valley of the monkeys. You can enjoy this wonderful valley for yourself, because not many tourists come there. After a short drive or half an hour walk you reach the tomb of Pharaoh "Aye". The tomb still has many secrets and a great magic…. You can ask the guar if he will lead you up the hills to enjoy a breathtaking view over the valley (please wear good shoes). After this visit your driver will take you to the "Carter House". Travel with your mind back into the past…………..
Enjoy a cool refreshment in a cozy garden café on your way back to the villa.

Deir Medina, tombs of the nobles and Ramesseum
Your driver will take you to the ticket office and then on to Deir Medina, the city of workers. In addition to the settlement, you will visit the wonderful tombs with many depictions of the Pharaonic period, which are currently open, as well as the small temple of the goddess Hator. The local guards will gladly show you the famous Ostrakas slightly outside. If you wish, you can hike to the "Valley of Colours" (here you will find the natural colors used for the tomb drawings). Afterwards you visit the tombs of the nobles. Here you can visit three impressive graves. You will be amazed! Your driver awaits you to take you to the wonderful Ramesseum, the fabulous mortuary temple of Ramses II. If you wish, you can join Deir Medina and the Tombs of the Nobles with a short hike, otherwise you will be taken by the driver.

Medinet Habu mortuary temple Ramses III and a Coptic monastery
You will be picked up by your driver at the agreed time and taken to Medinet Habu. This temple is one of the most impressive and largest in Luxor with an enormous wealth of wall drawings and huge columns. After the visit to the temple, you will walk about 20 minutes to the Coptic monastery of St. Tawdros in the desert (if you wish, the driver will also take you there). This monastery was built in the third century AD. found. Visit the ancient mudbrick church and the tomb of one of Egypt's most famous Egyptologist Labib Habachi, who is buried here. Walk back to Medinet Habu, where you can take a break in one of the coffeeshops. Your driver awaits you here and will take you back to Villa Harmony. If you wish, you can stop at the "Caravanserei" on the way back. This is a large handicraft shop in a traditional Egyptian style mud building. You will be greeted by friendly staff and can admire the rich offer from all over Egypt without any pressure to buy. Alternatively, you can do this trip by bike. The tickets must be obtained in advance at the ticket office.

Rock tombs and rock paintings in El Kab
Early in the morning, you will be picked up by car. This tour takes you along the Nile to the south. One and a half hours drive will take you to El Kab, the former necropolis, one of the most important cities in Pharaonic times. You visit some very interesting graves. Afterwards you will walk to two small but impressive temples. One of these temples was built by Amenhotep III on the edge of the desert. The path from the tombs to the most remote temple is about 4 km long, but it is an easy walk through an impressive landscape away from mass tourism. On the way to the last temple you will find something absolutely unique: a huge rock filled with prehistoric paintings and a lot of other graffiti from later pharaonic periods. The car will bring you back to Luxor.

Hathor Tempel, Dendera
Early in the morning you will be picked up by car. The drive to Dendera takes about 1. 5 hours. The Hathor Temple is one of the best preserved temples in Egypt today. Hathor is the goddess of love, joy and beauty. First explore the outer district with the Mammisi (beautifully preserved reliefs on the outer walls) and the Sacred Lake (today without water). Then let yourself be impressed by the 24 huge Hathor columns. Discover the wonderful alabaster Horus in a narrow cellar vault (don't be afraid to go down, the guards will help you) and the zodiac on the ceiling in the middle room on the temple roof. Hathor is considered to be the goddess of healing and has therefore always been visited by pilgrims who hope for healing.

Abydos, mortuary temple of Seti I
In the early morning you will be picked up by car. We drive in about 2.5 hours directly to Abydos. The mortuary temple of Seti I is located on the outskirts and is very well preserved. Stroll through the 7 sanctuaries dedicated to the local deities. Let your thoughts wander through the past in front of the king list... Cross the temple and take a look at the Osireion on the back of the temple. Can you find the oldest flower of life on the pillars?
This excursion can be combine with Dendera.
